Dr. Joseph Idicula, founder and president of Idicula Medical,has been a leading Cardiologist in Hernando County since 1991 and has won many awards for his ground breaking work in the field of Cardiology. He is an interventional cardiologist performing his patient’s procedures at Oak Hill Hospital and Bayfront Health Brooksville Hospital.
Dr. Agnes Idicula, founder and vice president has been practicing medicine since 1969 and has been an Internal Medicine physician in Hernando County since 1991. She has managed many patients who have a wide array of chronic conditions.
Dr. Georges Joseph is an Interventional Cardiologist trained in Valvular and Structural Diseases. Dr. Joseph was born in Haiti and at 14 years old, moved to Fort Myers, FL when his mother passed away. He overcame many obstacles being in a new country with a new language and culture. Dr. Joseph excelled early and began college at 17 years old. He spent the next 15 years studying medicine at various universities. Dr. Joseph was recruited directly from his fellowship program to bring his highly specialized training and expertise to Hernando County. Dr. Joseph says: “I am thrilled to make Hernando County my home and look forward to meeting the cardiovascular needs of the community.”
Gaurav Mathur, MD is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Mathur received his medical degree from SMS Medical College in Mumbai, India. He completed his residency at several facilites between India, the UK and the US. Dr. Mathur completed his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at Dexel University College in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Mathur specializes in cardiology and has privileges at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital, Bravera Health Brooksville Hospital and Bravera Health Spring Hill Florida.
Dr. Lyndon Garcia, who is of Filipino descent, has been practicing in Hernando County since 1996. He is an Internal Medicine physician and sees patients who are 18 years and older. He is currently seeing patients in our Hernando County office and our Citrus County office.
Jane Block, ARNP graduated from the University of Tampa with a Master of Science in Nursing and has been practicing in Spring Hill for 18 years, with 9 years as a Nurse Practitioner. She has managed chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension and COPD. She also does complete Well Women visits and sees patients 18 years and older.
Doug Pawling, ARNP is a certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Doug has more than five years of nursing experience caring for a diverse patient population. Doug holds a Master's Degree in Nursing from The University of Tampa and is nationally certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Doug specializes in managing chronic disease such as hypertension, diabetes and COPD. Doug believes healthcare is a two way street and works with his patients to help them achieve health related goals. Doug provides primary care for adolescents and adults. Health literacy is a big problem and Doug feels that patients can only make good health related decisions if they are properly informed.
